About the Artist: Marquin Campbell
Marquin Campbell is a designer and painter originally from Savannah, Georgia who now lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband and two children.
She studied Drawing and Painting at The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and went on to study Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. While in school she had wonderful experiences studying abroad in both Cuba and Italy, and those pursuits shaped her as an artist in many ways.
While classically trained, her work has led her to a more contemporary palette and subject matter.
Marquin is interested in color, texture, shape, and movement. Balanced energetic composition, energy, and fun are her artistic pursuits.
She has had the great pleasure of studying under artists Radcliffe Bailey, Gary Bodner, Robert Joyner, Melanie Morris, Patricia Kilburg, Patricia Wheeler, Patti Brady, Karen Weihs, and Phil Garrett.
