Shawn Penland
Shawn Penland joined Foster Victor in May 2022 as our Investment Trading Analyst. A native of Woodruff, South Carolina, Shawn kickstarted his journey into finance at Spartanburg Methodist College, where he earned his associate’s degree in business and was a member of the Men’s Golf Team. He furthered his education at the University of South Carolina, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business.
Prior to joining Foster Victor, Shawn honed his skills as a trading and portfolio support specialist at a private investment firm. Known for his strong passion for investments, unwavering dedication, and commitment to being the “hardest worker in the room,” Shawn brings this to his role at Foster Victor, where he has proven himself to be an indispensable member of the team.
Outside of work, Shawn holds a wide range of interests. He enjoys sports including football and golf, fitness, challenging his mind with chess, and exploring the great outdoors through hiking. Additionally, Shawn shares a love for Electronic Music festivals and traveling with his wife, always seeking out new adventures and experiences.
